Ballantine’s Stay True Stories is a an interactive brand experience which invites the user to journey through a number of stories about the ways in which people around the world “Stay True” to themselves, through their art and creativity.
The purpose of the project was to create an online hub for a number of films that were being created in order to tell the brand message of Stay True.
What we proposed was an experiential and responsive site that created a bigger story around each film. In-turn it encouraged exploration and understanding of what the brand message means to a wider group of people and in turn the user.
My role as design lead and product owner was to work closely with UX and development firstly to build a robust structure that would work for the entire lifetime of the project (12-18 months), and secondly to create an art direction that would both be loyal to the brand and flexible enough to illustrate the personality of each film and story.
